Shrukien(sp?) makes some solid batts but I've heard they can't be run under hood due to the heat.. I'm pretty sure it's because of the extremely thin side walls compared to other similar batts. Performance wise though I've only heard good things bout them, especially for the price I've seen them go for.

Also your buddy is an idiot if he thinks you'll be fine running an AQ 2200D of a Walmart batt and stock electrical other wise.

i think im gonna go with this setup. im not sure if the extra 30 bucks is worth the 300 extra watts i would get but im kinda thinkin it is. this totals up to 355 shipped for the 1800 and 325 shipped for the 1500. i think im gonna go with 1800 but im not sure yet. i know the 1500 does rated cuz the 3000 is 2 1500s together but im not sure if the 1800 does rated or its just a 1500 that say 1800 lol
