i didnt want to go past a grand thats why i was gonna jump on the 500.1 for $875.

well how old is that amp that he has..... what was its intended or actual use... how was the amp handle impedance wise..... how is the sellers feedback.... just a few questions to ask urself and maybe some others....

Guy said he used them at SBN in march and they had about 25 burps on them. didnt say about the imp. and I didn't really look into his feedback cause I was just tryin to get some info on the amps before I even considered buyin one.

personally i would do around 800-825 in price, but all in all, i know that amps list for way more, especially in canada i have seen those amps for over 2 grand.... i would pm the seller and ask him questions..

Alright, thanks for all the help cause I been goin crazy tryin to find a good amp to get. I was gonna stay with RF and get the T40001 but didnt want to pay the price for it. I'll see what he says about the 500.1 tho.

Dont know about the 500.1 but I was quoted straight from American Bass on a VFL400.1 and they told me around 1250 shipped. So the 500.1 shouldnt be more than 1500 new.

why not look also into the atomic 5k, cactus 5k or rd 5k, all us the same boards

and can be had for a good price......

Those amps only do rated power at 16 volts. Thier 12 volt power is substantially lower. If your looking for a true 5kw at 12 volts look into the rf 4000.1 or the Hifonics XX, XXVGoliath.
