right now im pushing about 1100rms total (kicker 750.1 & 350.4). 4 gauge from the battery to a distribution block, 4 gauge to the mono amp and 8 gauge to the 4-channel amp. i got a stock alt (70/80amp) and a stock Duralast battery :P, i get voltage drops and dimming.

what size of wire should i use for the big 3? oh btw i dont think will go over 2000rms for a long time so yeah. any suggestions? thanks alot people.

Run 0 ga on the big 3 and replace the 4ga from batt to distribution block with 0ga and that should help out some

Use the two icons for interactive Wire Guide

This will help out, larger wire is always better but in your case it will not make a noticable difference running 1100rms watts

yeah thanks. i think ima just go for knukoncept KLM 4 gauge wire for now. in the future i might just upgrade to a 1000 watt amp.

deffinatly use 0 or bigger. remember the bigger the wire the less resistance you have just make sure your ground is 0 as well and its a good clean ground

I'd say run the 0 gauge and run 0 to the amps as well then you could upgrade and not worry about it and for the time being your amps will be well feed.
