ChevyBoy Posted September 26, 2006 Author Report Share Posted September 26, 2006 i have some butt connectors but theyre all crimped rite and taped up. 14 gauge wire. gotta borrow my buddys multimeter. only settings on the x-over are for the tweets. -3,0,+3 db's amp gain is fine. i guess they just suck that much. :(thanks for helpin out though man. In x-overs they use things (like mini light bulbs) to lessen the amount of power going to the tweets. you maybe overloading them. Try finding x-over units (robot underground sells 'em) or just get some cheap caps from radio shack to test. Run your tweets by themselves (no x-over or mid) and see how they run. YOU HAVE TO either cross your amp or add an external x-0ver (like a cap form radioshack) above 3500 hz or you will fry your tweets.
