bigbodylexus
My mother in law gave me a 60-inch projection screen TV. She told me is doesn't work and she didn't know why, well after a little investigating I found out her son tried out his new PS3 on it. Is this thing repairable or should I tell her she has a big a$$ paperweight in her house? raytard
i was thinking the same thing and either its new enough to be under warrantee, or its old enough to be obsolete...so that should answer the repair question Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
blackrosetiger
I have a 8 year old 51" Panasonic projection tv (1080i) and I had to replace the mirror because of burn in ($150) depending on what the problem is with it. Its well worth the $ to have it repaired (or do the repairing your self) Because compaired to $3500 a $150 investment isnt that bad Quote 1998 Plymouth Voyager (daily) Jensen VM9213 H.U. raytard
but its 1080i(which has been bypassed and therefore is just obsolete), and flawed(can burn in) i just got a 1080p 52inch for a grand brand new, 150 bux is 1/6th of a brand new bigger and better tv. and if you had to pay someone to do it, you'd probably be near half the cost of a current tv Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
slugdub
I could find a use for a 1080i tv. One man's treasure. Oh and did anyone else think "Won't your papa be disgusted he found your TV busted?" when they read this title? Haha

bigbodylexus
The only thing I really know about the TV is it's less than 5 years old and it hasn't worked since he hooked his PS3 up to it.
