ccrider540 Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 im getting a new car and im going to redo my whole system for the most part and im going to get a new sub and amp that run at 2600 watts rms and i wanted to know what i should do to power it. i know im going to need a new alternator so i was thinking like a 300 amp alternator. let me know if thats really what i need or if i can go with like a 200 or so.
