Thinking about getting a new tv...

1080p flat screen if used correctly is worth every penny you spend on them.

this ^. make sure you get a lcd though, plasmas are inferior to lcd's.

edit looks like you already got one lol. if you have a flat screen a surround sound is a MUST, their sound is most all the time horrible.

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

his is probably a 60 hz and have you seen what best buy charges for those tvs? :8) they're about the last people i'd want to spend that much $$$ with on 'high' end electronics

and thanks on the monoprice advice, i've been pointed to them buy a few friends i'll be hitting them up soon

as far as my hdmi cable, i did get a 6' from the local best buy for 2.56 out the door, price match ftmfw!!!

I didnt read any of these post but if you are using it for video games get a plasma the refresh rate is alot faster so get a panasonic t.v thats 1080p and a good size. If its just for viewing and movies get a Sony XBR i belive they are i havnt sold t.v since CC but they are amazing tvs
