Blowthrough Questions.

Have a few questions about doing a blowthrough.

1. What is the difference in sound quality between a port through and blow through?

2. Lets say one day I wanted to reverse it, should I save the piece from the cab & bed to be able to weld them back in?

3. What would be the best way to cut it out considering I want the ability to reverse the blowthrough one day?

1. If you fac the subs on any other system a dif direction you notie output and sq dif right? I vote blowthrough if you are already cutting the bed.

2. Keep the pieces just incase.

3. sawzall.Just cut as close to the line as you can.

dont make the blowthrough too big unless you plan on bracing the area around the opening. It will flex like crazy and you will loose output.

reversing a cut through is no harder then re-welding the cut piece back in, then put back in the back trim panel . Then drop in a cheap bed-liner and no one would ever know.

port through's are band pass boxes the port is the only thing coming through the cab you don't need a very big hole cut just enough for the port. blowthrough is a ported box and you ned to cut out more of the cab to fit the box through
