Its completely stock so im curious if a hifonics 1610d would be too much power or if there are any other amps that would be better in the 200$ range. new2boom Posted February 18, 2010 Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 i have 2 of the 1610d's on 2-12''s in my blazer they never get hot i run them @ 1ohm and pound them hard for long periods of time i bought them because they were cheap and my budget was low i would think you might be better off with something with a little more power though. my vid of the 2-1610d's on 2-12''s is in my sig the amps do good but i have 2-saz3500d's that will replace the 2-bxi1610d's within the next month. Quote sealed up on the termlab mic on dash 4-sa12"s 2-3500d's 153.4db now testing a american bass 1100.1 no numbers yet 300amp iraggi alt and kinetik batts.
