Just ordered my lvl 4 18" yesterday from rusty. Its completely stock so im curious if a hifonics 1610d would be too much power or if there are any other amps that would be better in the 200$ range. Also what kinda specs for the box would be best in a 2 door blazer? sub up, port back? or port back sub back?

yea get a good amp. the reason alot of ppl run hifonics is becuz they r cheap. they put out decent power but when they blow o well its not a 5 or $600 setback. spent the money on a good amp and a good alt wouldnt hurt u

i have 2 of the 1610d's on 2-12''s in my blazer they never get hot i run them @ 1ohm and pound them hard for long periods of time i bought them because they were cheap and my budget was low i would think you might be better off with something with a little more power though. my vid of the 2-1610d's on 2-12''s is in my sig the amps do good but i have 2-saz3500d's that will replace the 2-bxi1610d's within the next month.

sealed up on the termlab mic on dash 4-sa12"s 2-3500d's 153.4db now testing a american bass 1100.1 no numbers yet 300amp iraggi alt and kinetik batts.
