Does anyone know how or where I can find a BIOS update for my pc? Everytime I watch youtube or any video, guaranteed the screen will go blank, pop up a blue screen sayin something about a bios error, shut it self down, and restart itself. Then when it comes back on, it gives me this:

Error Message Link

Any ideas or help is appreciated. This is what I'm working with:

Well this problem sounds like a driver or video card memory issue.

I suggest flashing your BIOS first with your vendor's latest. (Should be on their website)

Run a diagnostic utility for your video card and test everything.

Then make sure your drivers are up to date.

Those would be my first steps.

Well, I bought the pc of my g/f's brother who had this sitting around for a bit. Much btter than what I was using.

I updated the video card to the latest driver when I got it about a month ago.

How would I go about running a diag on the video card?

and I searched around on google and cant seem to find a bios update for what I have.

  • 3 weeks later...

click on start>run>dxdiag then go to display tab. Stop screens are windows level which usually means its a driver. if i were you i would update ALL of my drivers before flashing the BIOS. off brand Motherboards produce weird errors that make a tech scratch and wonder "how the hell"

EDIT: just wondering is it only youtube? does this happen when you open video files from any other place? are you using an onboard GPU or a physical card?
