Secondly, the red lead goes to the center of the RCA (or shielded wire), and the black goes to the shell (or exposed wire). If I'm not mistaken though, it doesn't really matter with AC voltage. Connect the ground clip to chassis ground or the outside ring of the rca if you can, and use the signal probe on the center pin of the RCA. 97 Maxima SE Bunch of shit going in, check out the build Build Log
