Alternator/Battery Question

I am currently on my stock alternator and will be running 2 Kinetik HC 800's along with the stock battery. I am planning on upgrading the alternator in the next few months but am wondering if my stocker will hold up. I will be running (2) Hifonics BXI2610's to a pair of RE 15's. How much of a chance am I taking on burning up the alternator? And when replaced will a 200 amp alternator be enough?

You probably will not 'burn up" the stock alternator, so long as you keep your batteries in a good state of charge by putting them on a battery charger. The main problem with the stock alternator is that your voltage will fall rapidly as your battery researve gets depleated. A higher amperage alternator will increase the amount of time you can play the system before voltage drop becomes and issue, and will decrease the amount of time that you have to turn the system down for the batteries to come back up.
