I have two 150 amp alts laying in my garage that came off a chevy school bus.. Would it be worth it to make a bracket for them or should i just save my money for an aftermarket alt? Like, reliability wise, would it be worth the effort of fabricating a bracket? Loudcivic Posted February 10, 2010 Report Share Posted February 10, 2010 well it would help a lot you already know that. you have the alts already so you dont have to spend money on them. with both thats 300amps so all you need know is the skill witch you might have and the tools and materials to get this done. i say go for it make sure to get pics 2015 silverado crew cab nothing atm but soon...
