az73 Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 finally, after months of waiting, i ordered my system tonight. my boat had an ok sony deck w/ ipod plug but no transfer of info to the screen so needed a new deck. now i wont have to pull ipod out of waterproof holder to change/select songs. it also had two 12" woofers(pioneer/sony)powered by a jvc 200 watt amp. believe it or not it did hit good,but definitely wanted better.it had two sets of 6x9(alpine)& one set of 6.5 alpines ran off a pyramid amp.once again they were fine as you could hear music at 65+mph with a through hole exhaust (which is pretty loud) but wanted better. we used the boat almost every day last summer. it is the stereo for our group out on the beach or when we have the houseboat out. i cant wait for this summer cuz everyone always sed how good my boat sounded and now with real equipment it should be tits. everything i ordered is in my signature.it should be here around the 20th. im gonna try to do a build log(need help fr daughter cuz im computer illiterate) because until m. hughes did his boat i hadn't seen any on here. just had to share,one more system on the way :tease: :drunk: : Quote sony m60ui polk mid/hi's infinity 6000m on tower fosgate p3d212 x2 fosgate p400-4 fosgate t1000-1bd im ona boat bitch My boat build funny thing is...............slamming fireworks in to the ground with a sledge hammer in mexico is like car audio in california... everyone is doing it but most fail Every time I read a comment you post, or a topic you make... az73 Posted February 16, 2010 Author Report Posted February 16, 2010 tuesday and damn sonic still says waiting for phone verification. tryed to call them yesterday,just ran out of time. they say they got inundated with orders so...yea ok them mondays a holiday so couldnt call cc company to verify ups shipping address vs billing address. w/e after 40 min. on hold and 10 min conversation im like well ill pay the 40$ to ship it to my p.o. box instead of my street address , ok answer these questions. got 1 wrong cause i ordered it on my dads credit card (were going skiing fri-sun didnt want to use mine) so that no b.s. would happen with the order. carpet dude says this week. so shortly ill start a build log if i can get daughter to slow down and help me post pics.comp pwnd me.
