  1. New patch release, not that it matters since no one plays anymore but here ya go. http://www.examiner.com/article/latest-call-of-duty-black-ops-2-patch-notes-1?cid=db_articles
  2. All this story needs is some hookers and blow and you have yourself a GTA video game. On a serious note, I doubt solid details will be presented and the media will take what they can and run with it just to get viewers. The only problem I see is that the eyewitness said the suspect matched the description but everyone knows that you take an eyewitness' description with a grain of salt, and they could only speculate who it was.
  3. LAPD didn't kill the 3 people they shot at. Also, it is unclear who started the fire along with many other details about the incident that we'll never likely know the truth about. But I think most people can agree he wasn't going to come away from this alive.
  4. Now they're saying they were tearing the walls down and as they got closer that's when they heard the single gun shot and the fire erupted. So much confusion down there.
  5. That series is just as bad at the Gran Turismo series with making a game on time. And isn't PS4 reportedly coming out around that time?
  6. You don't have to be quick to drag the peg, just leaned over enough to do so. I remember the first time I dragged my foot in a simple turn going maybe 25 mph and it scared the crap out of me, then I realized I need to work on my posture. Now I make sure if I'm going to really lean I adjust my body/foot positioning and tuck it in as much as I can. Either way, cool video and I've been wanting a GoPro for awhile now, just need to pull the trigger. Yeah, but if he's dragging toe then he needs to adjust his feet on the pegs, at least while going into a turn. Or if you're feet are really hanging off you can scrape them ith minimal lean. But it sounds like he already knows what to fix. Edit: Does the GoPro come with video editing software or do you download a program?
  7. Figured I'd update and say that people have raised over $600k for her. It's refreshing to see such good hearted people trying to help this lady out.
  8. Saw this and figured I'd share it here with anyone who hasn't seen/read about this yet. This is a video of an elderly bus monitor getting bullied by kids who look to be in middle school or high school. The whole thing kinda just makes me shake my head and say "wtf" is wrong with kids. I know not all kids are like this but the level of disrespect by a lot of them is just amazing.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAgti_2uziA And I heard somewhere that her son committed suicide 10 years or so ago.
  9. If you aren't willing to risk your time, effort and money then the business won't take off. No one can really say if it will be successful but attempting to start one is always a risk, it just depends if you're willing to take the chance. No one wants to waste their time but that's the only way to know for sure if you'll become successful, but if you won't risk it then don't do it. Running a company takes a lot of dedication and sometimes a lot of money to stay in business if you slow down. And I don't personally run one but I have 3-4 relatives that started a business, some which have come close to shutting down, and I've heard a lot about what it takes. If you're looking for easy income, starting a company probably isn't for you.
  10. Never understood that either. People must feel accomplished and like a rebel for saying no to an officer. If you're not in a hurry and they ask to search just say sure, if you have nothing to hide then there's nothing to worry about. Plus, it's not like officers go around asking every car they pull over if they can do a quick search. Be polite to the officer and chances are really good they'll be polite back.
  11. I'm one of those "start small and work your way up" kind of guys. I say start on a 250 so you can really learn on it then move up after you feel comfortable, but I'm not going to continue that argument here. And for a first bike, take the MSF and buy a used bike. You're going to drop it and dropping a brand new bike will suck a lot more than a used starter bike. Spend the money on quality gear also. Don't be this guy:
  12. The lower you go the worse the ride quality gets. If you have the money I'd replace the struts while you're replacing the springs but it's not necessary, I'm on stock struts with Eibach springs. Ideally coilovers would be the best option but then you're looking at spending a lit more. I don't know what's out there for an eclipse but I'd look into something with a 1.5-2" drop at most.
  13. Simply put, no. Just drive it until you can swap in a LS or get a 98-02 f-body. The 3.4's aren't that great and at only 160hp it would take a lot to get anywhere, especially considering the 3.8's in the later years had 200hp which is still slow. Save your money and don't waste it on the 3.4, trust me.
  14. I agree with him, and I'd also suggest thoroughly going over the car and make sure everything has been maintained properly and was built right without cutting corners. Those cars don't have a very good rep to start with so I'd save your money as a back up and when you have extra cash then throw a FMIC on it.
