jizazz12 Posted February 11, 2010 Report Share Posted February 11, 2010 alright here is my dilemma,just bought an 2007 impala. going to be using my old subs 2 LVL 4 15's dual 2ohm. i have 2 jl 1000/1's wiring one to each sub for now,will be upgrading amps soon to maby a AQ 3500.1. but here is my problem although the impala does have a large trunk it's only 37'' in the wheel well's max.was going to use areo ports but not enough room on the face for em,was thinking of sub's back ports up? if i go 17.5hx36.5wx26d that give me 7.94 gross be for displacement, so the room is there just wondering how this would sound in a trunk. the old set up was in a 05 sonata,i used the spare tire wheel well sub's up ports up and it sounded good.just not sure about the sub's back port up idea in a trunk. any suggestions? 2007 Chevy Impala LS 1 Crescendo 3KWP 1Crescendo C1000/4 2 DC lvl 4 15's with lvl5 dual .7 coils 1Audio Control Matrix 1 Pioneer P880PRS 1 300 amp Iraggi alt All power runs done with Knu flex 0/1 guage 1 optima yellow top under the hood 1 XS 5100 and two Deka's in the trunk 4 Crescendo MP-8 mid bass drivers 2 DB Drive p5 5 D Pro Audio tweeters Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
