Neo_frog Posted February 12, 2010 Report Share Posted February 12, 2010 your impedence will rise as you play, everytime the sub moves it changes a little bit and somebody correct me if im wrong a smaller box will have more rise. also slow roll your volume untill its playing dont just crank it right away. i would just get a second amp and wire both to 1 ohm though I was under the impression the rolling volume helped with impedance rise. That's why the high rollers always do it for SPL in the extreme class. Now I know for a fact they do it, but my reasoning could be dead wrong. My vote is buy another amp and wang it. I don't wanna have to constantly worry the ohm load.
