Nightshade Posted February 15, 2010 Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 is it power hungry Well with 2 saz2000's and 2 XS Power D3100's, an Iraggi 260 amp alt, and a Deka G34 I don't drop below 13 volts full tilt. If it does drop below that it's for a split second it never sits there, it will always jump right back up to the high 13's and 14's after it drops low. You will require at least an additional battery in the vehicle no more than 18" away from the amp to make sure it stays happy but that's about it. I've ran a pair of them off a stock alt for quite a while and had no trouble at all.
