Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.

Colin - STAPUFT Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 i loved my little vega vega, and im sure colin will chime in cuz he loves his.and my experience with the strokers is that they are amazing subs. they come in the most legit case this side of GTI anniversary edition components, are beefy, take tons of power, sound....perfect, and are field serviceable. i think oki ran some at some point too, or maybe my mental picture is off... Word!!!! I haven't done anything with their newer stuff though. I really would dig on some old school strokers or maybe some new ones, but it would take a reactor to power them all. My old vega series- get loud with little power (like 93 db sensitivity), they are tough as nails, have paper/kevlar cones (I am a sucker for paper cones), they are very musical, get really low when the box is right (fs of 27 hz I think), and they have good throw for such and old speaker.
