I beleive he meant he was taking the window out thats why he was going to use an acordian boot for it so in all reality it would be like mine...no window in place

ok what im talking about doing is essentially turning my truck into an suv just wont be as open as an suv tho the hole back will be sealed off and only way thru will be the window. ill get pics of it asap i have some on my myspace i got links somewhere on here. ill look for them or post them. it wont be walled just a laying box with the subs firing up and port firing back. i figured it would sound best that way. but im not sure. i just kno i dont want to cut a big whole in my cab in case i want to sell it in the future with the window i can just take it out and put the window back in.

The way I understand this is that its gonna be like an SUV type box in a camper shell? Then a box around it sealed to force the waves toward the cab? To me sounds like it would work but it is gonna be some kinda crazy 6th order type of tuning lol.

i think i just gave myself a concussion i facepalmed so hard.

and for the 1's that dont like me.....

well, Im still here fuckers. Cant get rid of me that easy.

if you do that I wouldn't do subs up port back, kinda defeats the purpose of it all. Wall it off and keep it back a good ways from the window opening but subs and port forward would be my call. It will end up being like my bed cut (mine is almost as big as the back glass) and it is subs/port forward and it slams!

Tune it low and have fun with it, done right it will sound great and knock your head off coming thru that window opening.

no I dont have a build log for this...I built this way before SMD was ever around....Ive been doin car audio since the early 90's and I beleive I actually done this one around 1995 and its been the same ever since then....I just cant seem to have the heart to redo the thing because I still show it
