D_man1987
^^^ i was about to put that.. upgrade ground and as far as you port AREA, it seems good,BUT the issue is how close it is to back wall and it will be choked off. i know you don't need a rebuild or even want to have to take vinyl off again, But you can just make port turn down 90* like a rotated L and not have a problem and no need to recover box or rebuild and it only takes small piece of wood Quote 1996 GMC YUKON 2dr Eclipse cd5000 six- Soundstream T5 12's in 13^ft tuned to 30.4hz,43.04hz, and 53.53hz soundoff 149.8 on TL in kick,150.0 SEALED in kick 147.8 SB4 3 RF T5002's--------------going to 3 Soundstream DTR1.3400D's two- Stinger sp1000's----going to two- BATCAP 4000's 2 140 amp alternators---going to 300amp Ohio Generator 2 runs 1/0ga, big 3-------going to 4 runs 1/0g + and 3 runs 1/0g - MB Quart QSD 6.5's in doors---soon to come my build log HERE!!!! check it out! uhoh_45
nope, I'm not handling, a lot of thousands wattssssss, I have 4 12's with single voice coil, probably in my next build we can talk about a couple dozens of watts, and of course I'm going to make a really big port, also a lot of sheets of mdf you got it backwards there if you were running thousands of watts you'd want a smaller port area to help cone control as for low power setups you'd want a bigger box with a bigger port area as for your port you want to keep it atleast your port hight away from the back wall say your port is 3" tall you want it atleast 3" away from the back wall and yeah, fix your ground boy Quote R.I.P!
