  1. the sabre and jig thing I get... but why do some call a reciprocating saw a sabre saw And who in the world calls a miter saw a chop saw????? actually NEVER heard that one before
  2. i would say just test it, my peak in my yukon was 53-54hz and i tuned to 56 and it still got a little louder at same peak frequency, so now i am tuning to 53hz.. so even if it isn't louder it will give you an idea of what tuning range would be best.
  3. what is the RMS on this sub, as well as recommended enclosure size and outer diameter measurement, i have the cash, but don't know if i have the room.
  4. yeah i buy PAS every now and again if it has something of interest to me, but is overall weak. they just recently had an issue covering usaci, meca, and iasca world finals i think it was and it was literally just 2 pages on each i think and more imports/models things like that ... i miss CA&E.... even mobile electronics mag too compared to our variety we have available now...
  5. would go astro if you want something huge, but i myself am a festiva/geo fan, 2 18's and a wall and you are set!!!!!!!! i am looking for one to do the same modified 1001-2000 and SB4
  6. engines are the same i do not know about the accesory drives though they might and most likely are different, but as far as alternator GM didn't make that many different ones, just check the mounting(6&12 or 4&8 i think it is) type CS-130 or AD244 just take a look at it
  7. as far as what i would do on a slight budget is long tubes(also long is better for high rpm, shorties for torque, but on LS engines long is usually best) lower gears(higher numerically) 1.6 roller rocker arms mass airflow housing TUNE!!!!!! and if you want spray, these engines do wonders on nitrous oh and colder plugs if you do nitrous... do all that and for under $1500 you should easily hit some 11's
  8. what date is the show? and damn if that is in SB4 i will get smoked i do 601-1800 STOCK, 1001-2000 MODIFIED, and.... SB4 mainly built for 601-1800 STOCK though
  9. which connector does it have on the rear? rectangle or oval-ish?
  10. ^^^ i was about to put that.. upgrade ground and as far as you port AREA, it seems good,BUT the issue is how close it is to back wall and it will be choked off. i know you don't need a rebuild or even want to have to take vinyl off again, But you can just make port turn down 90* like a rotated L and not have a problem and no need to recover box or rebuild and it only takes small piece of wood
  11. looks good!!!! i am about to go out and buy some wood and copy you, but no carage just extra storage room...
