D_man1987 Posted February 12, 2010 Report Share Posted February 12, 2010 ok, well i have been on here for a while and i figured i would start somewhat of a build log on my yukon. it's not so much as a rebuild as i am using the same box and subs for now until i get new subs... so here we go.... this is the ride and here is what i have in it, six soundstream t5 12's and 3 rockford fosgate T5002's and hidden in a stinger sp1000 battery behind amps here is my box while i was working on it, wish i had more pics but i didn't take hardly any during building here you can see some of the bracing, four 1" oak dowels going up/down, and a 2x4 all rounded over with 3/4 roundover bit and also fiberglassed in (with mat) and rounded at ends this is a close up of inside, i did all 3/4" 45's then went over them with fiberglass mat and smoothed out here it is going into yukon already, 3 subs in all 8ga wiring so as of right now i have just pulled all amps, subs and the box out,as well as battery.... now to start waiting for parts to come in, so please bear with me this might take a while but i am anxious to get it in.. and this is my first build log ever so i am sure i left some thing out so any questions i need to answer? what do you guys think? oh, and i don't know how to post vids on here but here is a link to 1996 GMC YUKON 2dr Eclipse cd5000 six- Soundstream T5 12's in 13^ft tuned to 30.4hz,43.04hz, and 53.53hz soundoff 149.8 on TL in kick,150.0 SEALED in kick 147.8 SB4 3 RF T5002's--------------going to 3 Soundstream DTR1.3400D's two- Stinger sp1000's----going to two- BATCAP 4000's 2 140 amp alternators---going to 300amp Ohio Generator 2 runs 1/0ga, big 3-------going to 4 runs 1/0g + and 3 runs 1/0g - MB Quart QSD 6.5's in doors---soon to come my build log HERE!!!! check it out! D_man1987 Posted February 12, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 12, 2010 ok, so today my first set of boxes arrived from fedex .... when i got home at 10pm tonight these here on my steps, since who knows when...damn fedex :censored: ..... these things were heavy as hell!!!!! what could they be.... sitting at 12.87 out of box.
