Well i bought this now once the weather gets nice i goin to hook it up

now pioneer wants me to wire up the violet/white wire to the back lamp so can i hook the wire up to my remote wire or run it to my fuse so i can see who behind my at any time

i guess you can try it, it will think that you have it in reverse at all times lol but if it work it works only one way to find out. in the pics theres nothing showing another wire other than the RCA's

all you should have to do is wire up a positive wire and a negative wire and run your video RCA once you switch to your aux input on your HU it should be on. You should only have to wire it into your reverse lights if you only want it to turn on when your backing up. I'd put it on a rocker switch though and mount the rocker on my dash that way its not using power all the time while your car is running. (you would run the positive to a switched + I hope)

the camera gets wired to the ignition circuit..it runs at all times as long as the key is on....youll want to put a switch inline with that violet/white wire if you hook it to an ignition source..if not the radio will show the backup camera at all times
