Guest jbinn Posted February 20, 2010 Report Share Posted February 20, 2010 That;s what happens when you buy a pre-fab box:-/ it actually wasnt tuned too bad concidering the price (I paid $30 for it and free shipping) the cost of materials alone on it are more than that so I said why not? I plan to build a box probably next month or when it gets warmer out so I can do it outside... I will be tuning my new box to 33hz and it will be 3.5cubes instead of this one which I believe is 1.5-2.0 cubes (not very big) I figure with only 400RMS to it, it won't matter that much anyways how big the box is, but I would LOVE to hit lows a lot harder so yeah a new box is in line. Guest jbinn Posted February 20, 2010 Report Share Posted February 20, 2010 At 20 secs if you watch my window/roof is flexing lol, now ive heard grand prix system infact i had TWO 15" kicker comps in my cara nd NEVER have i seen a roof flex like that, the way my car is it just allows maximum airflow from the cab its crazy... i dont even give the amp or sub credit for that, this car just loves 400RMS lol.
