I know how to wire them at 1 ohm.... Prove that the subs are getting 75 watts when the amp is putting out 300 RMS... Its common sense and you must not have any. For the what is prolly Forth damn time someone has told you this. If you wire them down to 1 ohm your getting 600 total watts , You take 600 Divided by 4 and you get 150watts PER SUB Okay If you wire them down to a final load of 4 ohm then you get 300 total watts , You take 300 divided by 4 and by god you get 75 watts PER SUB It isn't hard to figure out, Now you can post again and say you want proof well the proof is you going and doing it and if some thing gets messed up you blow a sub or your amp shits on you then ill buy you a new damn amp or sub this is not that complicated you just aren't thinking straight.

cqtama Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 ok this is just getting stupid. everyone here is right. do you think that the amp puts out more power just because you hook up more subs? thats not how it works. if the amp puts out 300 it puts out 3 hundred watts, your sharing that 300 watts with 4 different voice coils so it disperses the power between the 4 voice coils giving each one 75 watts. thats why it gets divided. because it needs to share the power between 4 voice coils not 1 edit: you want proof, go and do it, then go to a shop and have it clamped and ask them to tell you how much power the amp is putting out (only said shop because you want "proof" otherwise i would have said do it and go buy a clampmeter aand dmm) R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up. Then he thinks the amp will put 300 watts out to 4 ohms. Since each sub is 4 ohms, he thinks each sub will get 300 watts. My Youtube Page.
