Amp for 4 door speakers

Hey guys, i just wanted your take on what kind of amp i should select for my friend for his 4 alpine door speakers. He says they're 100 watts rms each, so i'm basically just trying to get a good input on what amp can power them and how they should be wired. I'm assuming a 4 channel stereo amp will do the trick? And if so, what kind will be able to do the job and how would they be wired
