no0b4lif3 Posted June 11, 2007 Report Share Posted June 11, 2007 damn, sorry to hear that, one day, i was comming back from visiting my mom in rehab (over an hour from home) and i can around the corner, and pushed on the gas, and it felt like it was going to gear up, but it didnt. no gears worked at all... we just left the car and said fuck it... good thing it wasnt a brand new car tho. Then i tried putting it in reverse to see if all was good and nope, nothing. Then i shut it off and let it sit for a sec. I started it, put it in reverse, and it backed up. Aint no one gonna get that price unless they know someone.....if so what company would do it that cheap? I called 3 places and $2800-$3000 is what i was quoted for a complete rebuilt tranny and 2200 for AAmco to rebuild it. Either way im hating life. I may as well drop $2500 on the ground and walk away from it.....this SUCKS$3000 .
