edog
I just recently purchased a 270 amp alt. and a vcm module for my dual alternator set-up from mechman.I installed it and everything was super easy with the VCM,the hardest part of the installation was finding where to mount the module.I started the vehicle and had issues(user error)with the dual alt. wiring, nothing major.I called xs power and to my surprise Nathan answered the phone,we talked and he patiently listened and answered all my questions and solved my problem.I would recommend the vcm and anything else they sell because of customer service. The vcm is wonderful,it does what its supposed to do with ease, easily installs, and steady voltage is great to see when your going through the paces of a 30 second demo of bass. THANKS NATHAN! I am saving up for xs batteries so you will be hearing from me again! edog
No I have not found any amps yet, kind of scared to spend the money with the way the economy is flutuating.First I am gonna try the 2- mmats 3500.5's I already have, because at first I had 2- optima batteries and my stock 105 amp alt.Now I have the dual alt set-up with the 105 amp,my mechman 270 amp,6-deka intimidator group 31 batteries, and my xs power vcm module.During a metered run my voltage dropped to around 10 volts and all I could manage was a 153.7,so I want to see what this upgrade in my electrical will do!
