I noticed since a couple weekends ago when my parents and I took a road trip to Maryland, the bass pounds heavy at certain times, and then after it sounds like it lowered. I know it can't be the song because it has a constant beat at a constant level (I was playing my mixes so I know). When my dad pulled over at a store, I went into the backseat and unhooked both of the RCA's that are ran to the o2 Audio (OAD3000.1) monoblock amp. I plugged in the left side first and the subs started knocking a little and that's how I know the left side was getting signal. I unplugged it and plugged in the right side and it did the same. (I plugged them in according to their sides one at a time) The amp is pushing 2 Kicker 12" L7s wired down to 2 ohm (if you check online you'll see the kicker box with them inside, that's what I have)... I don't know what possibly could be the issue. It's starting to scare me. Any ideas or advice?

that caps not really helpin you all that much. its really most useful as a voltmeter. i would ditch it and get a small battery for the trunk. now big is the difference that your noticeing?

Before when I had the SW Level on the Pioneer deck set to -18 at 125hz it would kick. Then I noticed I had to turn it up to -12 and it would kick louder but then it sounds like it goes back to -18. It feels like as if one of the 12s stopped working, but when I put my ear next to both I can hear them working.

is one moving more than another or in the opposite direction? you could have a lose rca. i would also check your wiring inside the box and make sure you wired them both corectly and didnt mix one up on accident

I gotta do another pounding check when the weather gets better. The truck is parked up outside in the snow for the longest. I didn't wire up the box. We bought it wired down to 2 ohms from Kicker.

hmm. i would still double check it because accidents happen even from the factory. also how do you have it wired from the box to the amp?
