I'm using Windows media players scope view to determine clipping while bass boosting with audacity, and I was wondering, if there are lines that go straight up and down, is that clipping?

no its not i think its just from the notes rapidly changing

Aight because a Song I have hits 31 Hz at 12 DBs and I'm trying to boost it, and I can and that's the only thing that caught my eye.

also if you zoom in so it says like 0.180 0.185 0.190 on audacity

it will be the same as if you play it on WMP so you don"t have to save it after every time you boost more

also if it has 4 number you have zoomed to far

u should be able to see if u clip a boost before ever saving it

and what are u talking about 4 numbers and uve zoomed too far... the more u zoom the more accurate u will be... that makes no sense

learn how to use the "print screen" button

zoom in to the part in question, hit print screen, go to paint and paste, then save and upload to photobucket or something and we can see what u were lookin at
