chevy box 4 18s box

sup ppl....

i need some hellp on makein a box on a chevy box ( chevy caprice classic 90 ) thinkin of getin 4 18s FI BTL

the size if the trunk is

35 depth

67 weight

15 height

so idk im outta ideas i asked my buddy he said na it wont fit but if i do separate boxs for euch would it fit ? im talkin about all in da same box but havein da same chamber

That will be interesting to see, but i really dont think ull have the proper air space for those 4 subs. id say just wall it but u probly want ur back seat.

Even if you can make a box big enough in your truck, I wouldn't do it. Build a wall or use less subs.

lol 2 woofers takein the upper center one left and one right ill have plenty of space in the center and at the bottom

and hell yea i want my backseat i got ideas for that later lol

but i still need some more advice yo :|

what u think of 4 15s then ?

You really want to avoid trying to stuff as many subs in your trunk as you can, you will just end up with tons of rattle at the cost of lots of sound.

so i guess just 2 18s ?

If it were me, I would pick something you can fire into the cabin and have the trunk sealed off. You said you only have 15" of height so 18s wouldn't work. There are many ways to do a trunk install so firing them into the cabin is far from your only choice.

dude no disrespect but just cuz meade had 4 18 btl's doesnt mean thats the best u can get. thats just what he went with. fi is great true. but y dont u do something u might be able to fit in your trunk with the right airspace like 4 12 btl's (if u wanna go with fi)
