Forevrbumpn Posted March 2, 2010 Report Share Posted March 2, 2010 I used to work for Skylon Sports, installing the Skylon audio, subs, components, tower speakers, decks, and amps, everything The only things actually marine rated, was the tower speakers, comp/coaxes, and decks, just anything facing the weather, or water. The comp subs we installed, were paper cones, foam surrounds, I resined the the speaker boxes, inside and out. The low end subs we used, well, those were actually poly cone, and rubber surrounds, usually because they actually were the replacements for the stock locations. So to actually say Marine use, well, its really based on how its used/installed I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Once it was done and sea worthy pics kinda stopped, and when it flooded my waterproof enclosure proved to NOT be waterproof. Haha, sub will be relocated this time to the front along with the batts. Gotta get that weight forward when pulling wake boarders. I'll get vids of it in action this summer for sure as well. It's all gone!
