Im not sure if I am going to build it up or not cause i know i will screw up, but if I do I will be sure to post pics. By the way i ordered 2 fi Qs with a hifonics 2006 oh yea do i need really need head unit cause i def dont have enough money now for one and i like mine cause it is a 6 cd changer.... cmrs2k Posted June 13, 2007 Report Share Posted June 13, 2007 An aftermarket HU with pre-amp outputs will generally help a lot with the cleanliness and quality of the signal to your amplifier which should help fight distortion/clipping.
