Does the motor still run even with the horrible knocking sound?

Yes it does but it is just scarry because you never know when the car will stop working.....but yes it does work like normal...

Why don't you find out the exact issue and just replace that? How man miles is on the engine?

140,236......Just nobody knows what the problem is....We went to 2 mechanics and kept saying get another engine or a overhaul....but this week we will go to a mechanic who works only on nissans and worked on nissans for like 20 years so he might know the problems and might have to be something major but seems like it is

That motor is your perfect solution! Cheap, and I'm sure it will run clean and strong for quite a while.

yah man for $550 it is a steal but will ask for more pics and more info on it to make it is in good condition...

it should not cost you no more than a $1000-$1500 to get it installed.

is that with like a 3 yr. warranty and installation ? thats expensive...

just get like a new chevy 350... they go around $2000-$10000 depending on the options...
