basshead4life Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Okay so ive had the same system since christmas of '08 and i soon want to go big. i have a 98 hyundai elantra that i want to wall off. im just not sure what to put in it. i was leaning towards 4 AQ SDC 15's in a big ported clam powered by a AP 3000. i just need peoples opinions and even suggestions. Team S.M.D. Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1 - American Bass 500.1 - 60 ft of 3/0 -480 Ah of battery - (2) stock alternators (70 +90) - Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol

Current System: Pioneer 6900 HU Front Stage: (for now) Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs Bass: 4 Soundstream RW-12's 2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's single chamber box, 2.65 cubes. Currently under the knife being bagged Rebuilding err'thang

C&S songs FTW! Same here, thats all I want in my tahoe. if it does numbers then awesome, but id rather flex a lot of shit & blow hondas off the road as I pass by. I think you should definately make it for the 18's & make some adapters to fit your 12's for now so you still have beat in the meantime & when the funds arise you will be ready for teh 18's!!!
