So I'm looking to building a new box for my HD3 15 since no one seems to like HD3s. Right now, my box is 3.99cu.ft. tuned to 32HZ (love my lows too much).

Looking to go bigger with my box. I know I should use other Box calculators but I don't really know how so this is what I came up with.

If anyone has any designs/suggestions/tips/ etc. let me know please. Also, where would/should I brace the box? Should I add 45s?

Also, I don't know how accurate RE's calc is but I think it is close enough to what I want.

Anyways, disregard this recalc stuff. I need help with torres box calc & sketchup.

This looks more realistic. I just realized the previous one had no tuning frequency. I figure 15.5" for the port because it'll be in between .75" mdf on the top & bottom. I'm also confused with the cut list section. Baffle/bottom/sides/front&back. I thought the baffles were the front? Sorry, I'm a noob to this.

Wow no replies? Anyways, I saw someone put different numbers in the port boxes. IDK if I did it wrong or they did it wrong. For example:

My way, example:

Which would be the right way? I ask because going by the first pic, I wouldn't have enough port area but I would with the second pic. Also, PLEASE let me know if you can sketchup something for me using the second pictures' specs/dimensions. I'd appreciate it.

the last post 2nd one looks right imo.

still a little short on port area IMO but its not to bad.

id stay with a 35 hz tune for the AQs and DDs per what DJ said when i spoke with him.

i think youll have a "boomy" sound as your box is a little big but it should be pretty effiecent
