sean 371 Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 How much power can the lvl3's take? I'm not adding a second amp anymore, so I'm deciding between a single 18 (lvl 4) or dual 15 (lvl 3) setup. Let me know. A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall
BigOso Posted June 28, 2007 Author Report Posted June 28, 2007 There is a dual 2 coil option on the level 3 that will up the power handling to roughly 800-900 rms per sub. The option for dual 2's cost 25$ per sub. 2006 SPLMAX Bass Race Competitor of the Year 2006 Bass Race 156 points Team DC Sounds Team Maxxsonics Team HR Team Second Skin Team Hooker Audio http://dcsoundlab.com/ 2006 Bass Race 156 points 2008 Starting from scratch

The level 3 offers the dual 2 coil option that allows a couple hundred watts more power handling. The level 4's are only available in dual 2's right now.
