130amps (max) doesn't seem "high output" to me. Mine does that at idle. You should check out http://www.dcpowerinc.com if you're looking for a true high output alternator

I have no dimming. But I also did the big three with 1/0, even 1/0 all the way back to my amp. Couple that with a high current dry cell and you've got yourself a pretty solid electrical system.

so should i add a battery or replace the battery under the hood? the HC1800 is the perfect under my hood. or should i get a hc600/800 in the trunk?

any voltage drops?

I run the 1800 as well, but the wiring is just as important. Often times people will have a nice battery, a nice alternator but running 8 gauge wire (or running stock) which can cause voltage issues (dimming, most commonly).

of course im going to upgrade the wire to 0 gauge.
