I poured 24oz and mixed in 336 drops of hardener and the whole cup hardened up in the middle of my work, got hot as hell, and is now smoking.

WTF?

Is this normal?

LOL

Maaaan!!! It says add 14 drops for every ounce of resin. 24X14=336

Fuck it, this is my first box and the first time working with fiberglass.

Good thing I bought 120 oz of resin...

You counted out 336 drops... wow. The resin was probably half set by the time you finished pouring it...

Just mix it by ratio. What is it, 6:1?

It wasn't easy I'll tell ya that but, yea, I actually counted 336 drops. lol

Quick question before I get back to work: Is it okay to mix it up in a plastic container?
