banginsebring07
Gonna run 3 15's in a 2000 2 door blazer and was looking for some ideas for sub placement. Odd # of subs so I was just gonna see what you guys might suggest. Thanks ahead.

banginsebring07
Geez, sorry i even asked. Not wanting an actual design just more less some ideas on what has worked for other blazer owners, like subs pass side firing up port drivers side firing back, all up, all back, things of that nature. Really thinking about just walling it but looking at other alternatives. Last time i checked a general design is a general design, different brands of subs and things don't necessarily come into play on tried and proven box designs. That is like saying i'm going to buy some BTL's and i should build a crx style ported box, or go with some Audiopulses, and build a 6th order bandpass firing forward. lance_98main
loudest in mine is subs up port back, or subs up ports drivers side. but port back is nice, so you have room for amp/amps. either way sound good. raytard
i did 3 12's firing up with a square port firing back. not suggested, it loaded weird. a slot port would work alot better, or aero's. sub up port back is prob the best bet in that thing. banginsebring07
Thanks for the quick replies. Been a while since I've built anything for an SUV, maily trucks and cars. The way things are looking just sheer space wise since it is a 2 door i really leaning on a wall, but theres just something about being able to see out your back window that is appealing. lol

raytard
do you need to keep the back seat functional? if you can lay it down you have a shitton of room. if it has to sit behind the back seat you kinda need a wall though (or you're stuck with a REALLY small box for 3 15's Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
