So if you are only dropping to above whatever battery voltage is it wont do much. if you want to get the best out of it you might as well go for a new alt. raytard Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 are they sealed AGM style batteries? if so go for it. if not, stay away. normal lead acid batteries vent sulfuric gas and hydrogen. one stinks and makes you sick, the other one is explosive. AGM batteries are sealed, which is why we all use them, they're safe to be inside a vehicle. However, it depends on how much power you are drawing, how the much power the subs can take, how much more power is needed to raise your score, enclosure efficiency, etc. and so forth. Basically it's hard to say 100% yes or no.
