  1. 1. Should i get 4 10" subs, 4 12" subs or 2 15"s if possible?

Recommended Posts

Alright so i sold my 88 ext s10

and bought me a 93 sonoma reg cab

and im big on systems

now i want to put

4 10"s behind the seat

or

4 12"s if possible??

and someone has told me you can put

15" subs back there and in that case i would only want 2 back there...

i was wondering if anyone knew anything about the space and if any of my ideas are possible??

and if so what kind of speakers should i look for

where i would get good hard hitting bass and not spending arm and leg...

and how i would put it back there...

so basically if anyone has any knowledge on doing this on reg cab's please let me know your ideas and thoughts and stuff please...

thanks

this is a picture of just some random thing i found on google when searched space...but i want 4 subs so remember that :P

I dont see you having the airspace to put 4 10s behind the seat...maybe 2 10s sealed...or 2 8s...You'll probably shoot down this idea but what aout a blowthrough? doesn't seem very complicated...then you can do whatever you want sub wise...

idk i feel like its possible to put 4 10"s back there i dont see why not and i see people has voted so far twice on the 4 12"s so must mean they know something lol i wish they would say their input on how and why they chose it

id do either one high power handeling 12 like my setup. or something like 2 10's or 3 8's. 4 12's woulden't sounds good at all behind the seat of that trust me ive built bout 5 regular cab boxes and theres no way youd get enough airspace for 4 12's

some1 did tell me to consider 4 8"s back there but i dont think loud of enough prob for me...

2 10"s would sound good

4 12"s will prob be hard but is possible but i want

4 10"s more n they fit prob

lol I bet 4 Sundown SA8s would be louder then 4 12's or 10's back there.

Are you going to wall in it behind the seats or are you planning to stick with a box below the window line? Also if you get some measurements you'll probably get more opinions as it will help to understand what kind of airspace your working with.
