"C-REX"

I thought you all would like to check out this old school CRX system. The CRX was owned by my good friend Jason. Jason and I built every bit of this system together, today we build Home theaters. This car placed 3rd in the DB Drags 1996 western regionals in Boise ID. That was the same show where Bill Proud was the first to break the 160db mark. We had alot of fun with it back then.

Look close, the woofers had to actualy overlap in order to get them to fit.

The baffle wasnt the only place we had to get creative to make things fit.

Passenger side floor...

Look in the bottom left hand corner of this picture. You can see the amp flushed into the passenger side floor with plexyglass cover.

I don't remember what our numbers were at the regionals. High 158point somthin'. I will ask Jason if he remembers. That little car was stupid loud. Great fun at stop lights. No one expected that kind of SPL from a CRX.

Sometime later we tore out the 12-10" woofers and rebuilt it with 6-15" TC Sounds woofers. I only have 3 pictures of the 15's. Unfortunetly I don't have a picture of the completed wall. If I find one I will post it up.
