Mac58
No HO alt yet. Though the stock alt is 160 amps. Things are slowly but surely coming together. Eventually powermaster is probably what'll go in it in the future, at a minimum for the back battery right at the amp, and a 270 or 320 amp alt. There's no dimming at the headlights, or dash/ headunit like there used to be with my first setup. Good to hear, Im upgrading to a HO, got 3 batts currently, I need to stop being lazy and start another build log with my updates Cant wait to see how everything turns out. Where do you have to power wire running back back into car? (Whered you drill to get it back into trunk) Current build: Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD Soundstream EQ RF Components (5 1/4, 6 1/2, 6x9 x 2) Two Fi-BTL 15's One RF T1500-1bd Amplifier T400-4bd XS Power 608 XS Power D1200 Optima Yellow top 34 Soon to come: Another RF T1500-1bd HO Alt 1-6 more XS power 680 Team D.M.V
Blackedout
Didn't drill any holes for power. One run OFC on each side of the car routed through some PVC tubing. Nothing close to the exhaust, nothing interfering with any moving parts, just clean, simple, safe, and straight to the back of the car. How did you get it back into the cabin though?
Blackedout
I like that idea, have to try that next time i do a setup. How did you get it back into the cabin though? So the power wire comes up through an existing hole in the under body, and it runs under the stock plastics (where the arm rests/ cup holders are in the rear), and then it runs under the support and straight into the trunk, as shown in the picture. ALL Power on the left, ground and RCAs on the right. Trunk Build Log

Blackedout
Showed the SI in a local car show today. Won the 'Best import' award. The award wasn't a trophy, but the important thing was the recognition for my car, the system, as well as the car club I'm involved with.
