heres my deal..first fo all let me say i keep getting different answeres and its driving me crazy..im using 2 sets of component speakers and each set consist of 2 6.5'' speakers and 2 tweeters and they are 4ohms..and come with there own x-overs..so in total i will be wiring 4 tweeters, and 4 6.5'' speakers and they come with 2 of there own x-overs..what is the final ohm load that i will get? i seriously need help with this please..

if you parallel all of the components together...1 ohm.

if you parallel the channels together (i.e. the left speakers and the right) 2 sets of 2 ohm.

is that what you were looking for?

so i would get a 4ohm load?

You should end up with a 1 ohm load if you wire all in parallel if you wire in series you could get a 2 ohm load or a 4 ohm or if you really wanted to you could get i think up to a 16 ohm load but that would be pointless really so you will probably end up with a 1 ohm final load.

Are you using an amp to power these.

i dont have a dmm, and im trying to wire them to a 4 channel amp i know its either 2 ohm or 4 ohm, i never heard of anyone wiring multiple component sets to a 4 channel amp at 1ohm..
