manofthehour
Hey! I'm in the process of making this vented box for my two 12" subs. I have all the materials and tools needed, but I can not figure out the dimensions needed. I have the specs on the subs: the net volume on a vented box is 2.0 ft3 and I have two so total net volume of 4.0 ft3 is needed in the box. It needs to be tuned to 35 Hz also. It also can't be taller than 15" and wider then 34" to fit perfectly in the trunk (depth isn't a problem). Any help on this one? Thanks. I got this sketch from another post, but it's only 3.0 ft3 and tuned to 30 Hz, so if you could alter this one that would be fine too. Gutta Trash
and you can not get 4 cubes if your depth is limited to 16.9 but you will get close Quote On 4/20/2010 at 10:06 PM, 'cc_audio' said: Guys are just like girls, once you've had 18 inches you don't go back. 2004 GMC Yukon XL Pioneer AVH-X4700BS 13 band EQ Sub Amp- (2) PPI 5000BD.1 (2) Re SXX 15's 8 cu. ft. box tuned to 32 Hz (4) 6.5 Bose Mids (2) 1" Bose Tweets (2) 1.5" Bose Tweets (1) JY 80 AH w/ new JY busses (1) Duracell 750 up front Apex Alternators 270 A.C. manofthehour
ok 18.4" is the majic number but i havent taken in account the fact that ill have to brace it (and i dont even know how the heck to do that) BUT did i need to subtract the port walls from the volume itself?
