oldschool Posted March 21, 2010 Report Share Posted March 21, 2010 Quick question how much power are you guys feeding the subs I burped my level 5 18 with 14k of dirty power and it still held together fine the coil finally gave out after 11 burps back 2 back but it stayed together just fine just curious if it is just the 10s with that problem or y'all are throwing a hell of a lot more power than I am. If it were only that simple. 10's are different animals. We constantly are fighting with softparts. James has had the same box for a long time and doesnt normally lose surrounds. SI Guy Posted April 3, 2010 Report Share Posted April 3, 2010 Awesome perspective Thor. I had such a great time running against a fellow DC'r. Yeah, James has ALOT more power than me. That second round I thought it was over. He got me in the third by quite a bit... Thanks to your Gorilla tape quick fix. Unbelieveable subs to play that strong after the repairs. Burping 14K on a subs is WAY different than playing music for 1 1/2 minutes. Less can bemore sometimes since we can only run 2 batts in Flyweight. Thanks for the vids Thor!
