50sindt Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Ok so hears the deal im stuck with the decsion which is the best sub for me. I want to either get two 15s or three 12s. I want spl but yet i still want some sq too. I went to a dealer close to me and he recomended getting two 15inch rf t2s or three rf t1 12s. My choices close to me are treos or rfs. But the one guy said he would still do it if i bought a different type of woofer. So I could either go with treo ssx 15s rf t1 12s or t2 15s ascdent havoc15s or mayem15s fi bl15s or btl15s. So between them wich is going to give me sq and spl please explain so i can make the best choice. I would like it to hit atleast 145 dbs.

cqtama Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 i belive 2 15's have a tad more cone area double check in the subwoofer section theres a stickied topic about cone area, so with that in mind they should get louder on the same power with the proper instal. as far as what subs to get i like rockford ALOT i just got rid of a pair of 15 inch t1's and they hit hard the only problem i have is there very expensive. i wold look into audioque or cadence, or dc, dd. any of those are very reliable brands EDIT: also what kind of car. if this is going in a trunk its going to be very tuff to do a 145 no matter what you put back there. I have a chevy avalanhce im getting a custom midgate box and yes i know the rockfords are alot but the i herd they are worth the money. The guy told me at the counter that I could probley hit the 145 with t2 15s
