TeejayBee Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Alright so ill be posting pics of what ive been doing all day once i get done making this topic. So this is my problem. I have a Kenwood DDX-514 just got it, So i have the headunit wired up correctly all speakers it turns on all that b.s But now that i have got time to build my amp rack i wanted to make sure my amps will turn on and work , So i use the Blue wire from the H/u wiring harness and i ran the wire to my Rem turn on . on my amp I get 14.44 with car on from power wire and i know my grounds good because i check my volt with the Ground wire. But when i go to check the Voltage from my Rem wire its like all kinds of numbers dosnt really settle but ive gotten from 9.45- -5.23 SO im thinking its the rem wire. I mean i dont know if i need to set somthing up on the headunit them to work i mean i didnt plug the RCA's into my Amp yet might be it idk haha. ohh the amp turns on for like 20 seconds then turns off so i dont know what it is

TeejayBee Posted March 22, 2010 Author Report Posted March 22, 2010 Haha damn i didnt think of that, i just saw blue and know the rem wire had blue. But i just changed em and now its in protect so im going to check my ground tomorrow ive been doing this for 7 hours haha
Team-Atomic-Andrew Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 yea its in the manual, i have the exact same one, although when you hook the HD accesory up to it, it for some reason turns the power antenna line off
